ABOUT PMI KERALA CHAPTER

PMI Kerala Chapter was established in the year 2003 with an aim to build professionalism in project management. PMI Kerala is the Global Best chapter award winning chapter from South Asia region &  chapter has 800+ project management professionals and students as members. The PMI Kerala Chapter is jubilantly celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of excellence and dedication in the field of project management. Over the years, this chapter has grown into a vibrant and dynamic community of professionals who have played a pivotal role in advancing the discipline of project management across the region. With a rich history of organizing insightful seminars, workshops, and conferences, PMI Kerala Chapter has not only nurtured the skills and knowledge of its members but has also contributed significantly to the growth and development of the local business ecosystem. As it embarks on its third decade, the chapter stands poised to continue its legacy of fostering innovation, collaboration, and excellence in project management, making significant contributions to the success of projects and organizations in Kerala and beyond. With representations from multiple industry sectors including construction, IT, manufacturing and academia, the Chapter facilitates mutual learning, networking, and knowledge sharing, with more volunteering options.


The PMI Kerala Chapter has been functioning since August 2003.

The objectives of the Chapter are

  1. Create a common platform for the Project Management professionals in Kerala to meet on a periodical basis to share knowledge and experience
  2. Promote globally accepted and standardized best practices of project management towards project excellence.
  3. Build professionalism in project management by promoting PMP certification conducted by PMI and involve more professionals in contributing towards the continued growth of the profession.
